Phone Harassment, unsolicited calls, unknown numbers, cold calling
If you are being harrased by someone, or a phone number consistently calls and have no idea who they are here are a few links that might help you find out where they are coming from, here is a list of resources that you may find useful.
If the number is not identified through this list, and you discover where the call originates from, you can also add to their database list.

because no one should be harrassed, if anyone does purport to be calling from somewhere, you are fully within your rights to ask them a few security questions i.e. their names, (home) address, etc. if they refuse to provide you with these, yet require yours.... beware, they may not be who they say they are so it's always best not to engage with them.
It's ridiculous that callers request private information from you when they call, yet run a mile when you ask the same from them.
